Three Gold Medals at OFSAA Track and Field Championships

Limestone District School Board had an outstanding showing with three golds and other notable placements at this year's OFSAA Track and Field Championships, held at the Toronto Track and Field Centre (York University) in Toronto from June 5 to June 7, 2025.

Gold Medals

Frontenac SS (FSS):

  • Wyatt Lee finished 1st in Senior Boys 100 and 200m

Kingston SS (KSS):

  • Junior Girls 4 x 100m relay team finished 1st - Caitlyn Wimmer, Mara Barrow-McLagan, Amaya Barrow-McLagan and Marina Playter-Tuffs
  • Athena Andrecyk finished 1st in Senior Women's 3000m


Other Notable Results:

KSS:

  • Vicky Malik finished 2nd in Novice Girls 800/1500m
  • Eva Andrecyk finished 4th in Womens 3000m Novice
  • Claire Simmers finished 4th in Women's 800m Ambulatory
  • Amaya Barrow-McLagan finished 4th in Women's 80m hurdles
  • Luqmaan Brewster finished 4th in Junior Men's Triple Jump

LCVI:

  • Sierra Carroll finished 3rd in Intellectually Imp. Shot Put

FSS:

  • Declan Cowan finished 3rd in Junior Boys Disc Throw
